Minnesota State Agency Chooses
"Safe" Route and Distributes via Pathfire
Atlanta, GA February 16, 2007
- As part of its commitment to protect citizens
and communities through prevention, preparedness,
response, recovery, education, and enforcement,
the Minnesota Department of Public Safety (DPS)
has begun distributing PSA's via Pathfire's
Digital Media Gateway ("DMG").
"Each year around 500 people
die on Minnesota roads, so it's vital that we
educate Minnesotans about the importance being
safe behind-the-wheel," says Nathan Bowie,
a DPS spokesperson. "With video being a
medium through which our message can also be
delivered, Pathfire both expands our reach as
well as puts our messages at the station for
quicker processing and dissemination to the
public."
According to Peter Rosenbaum,
News Sales Manager for Pathfire, "This
is an excellent use of Pathfire's DMG, and a
prime example of how any kind of information
can be efficiently moved from the provider source
to the audience target."
Pathfire will be demonstrating
the DMG end-to-end content delivery suite at
the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB)
Convention, Booth SU 7405. NAB is April 16-19,
2007 in Las Vegas, NV.
