Pathfire Expands Sales Team


Atlanta, GA, June 21, 2006 - Pathfire, Inc., the leading provider of digital media management and distribution solutions for the broadcast television industry, is pleased to announce the expansion of its dynamic sales team.

Michael Donohue - Director of Sales
Michael Donohue is Pathfire's Director of Sales, managing the entertainment industry which includes content producers, aggregators, and distributors.

Michael brings over thirty years of rich media experience to Pathfire. His career began at UCLA by creating and implementing Transamerica's Telecommunication Network in the mid-1970s. Throughout the following decades, Michael was responsible for driving fixed facilities and mobile unit system integration projects for KTLA, ARCO, NBC, One Pass, Paramount Pictures, AFRTS, Santa Fe Communications and Viacom. Also during this period, Michael produced several shows and commercials, as well as the production, marketing and distribution of several consumer products.

During the last six years, Michael has focused on the evolution to non-linear work flow and content distribution with emphasis on the value of Media Asset Management. Before joining Pathfire, Michael was the VP of New Product Sales for Ascent Media Network Services where he helped to envision, sell and market a new store-and-forward platform called Media Express. His experience with media content-from creation to distribution-is an asset to Pathfire's role as a worldwide leader in content management and distribution.


Tom Califano - Broadcast Sales Manager
Tom Califano joins Pathfire as Broadcast Sales Manger on the East Coast concentrating his efforts on managing relationships with group owners, broadcast stations, and system integrators.

During a long career with Sony Broadcast, Tom managed direct sales to broadcast stations, networks, groups, post production houses and system integrators. He successfully launched several new products and was the recipient of numerous sales and marketing achievement awards. Tom has also held sales and marketing positions at Hitachi and Controlware Communications. He started his broadcast career working for the ABC Television Network as a Systems Engineer.

Tom is an avid boating enthusiast and enjoys cruising Long Island Sound and the Great South Bay with his wife and two children.


Peter Rosenbaum - News Sales Manager
At Pathfire, Peter Rosenbaum holds the title of News Sales Manager, responsible for servicing both clients in the newsroom industry as well as video news feed distribution partners.

Peter possesses more than 20 years of television broadcasting experience. He began his career working as a television audio and camera operator for ABC, NBC, CBS, Discovery, CNN, and Fox News. More recently, Peter's focus has been on broadcast sales, building sales teams and penetrating new market segments while maintaining solid, high-retention revenue bases. During his tenure as the Director of Sales & Marketing at Mobile Video Services in Washington, DC, he drove the profits to their highest peak in its 25-year history. Peter was selected the Most Valuable Player in Northeast Sales for Qwest Digital Media in 2000.

Peter has a BA in Communications from Elon University in North Carolina. He lives in Alpharetta with his wife, Kristi, and three children, Madison, Turner, and Grant.


Mark Wronski - Broadcast Sales Manager
Based in California, Mark Wronski serves as the Broadcast Sales Manager, managing relationships with groups, broadcast stations, and system integrators for the western portion of the United States.

"I am excited to be here because Pathfire's products really do help broadcasters increase the operational efficiencies of their businesses, which is precisely what is needed in this current era of the industry," said Mark.

Mark began his professional career in the broadcast industry in 1980. Since then, he has held a variety of senior sales management positions with manufacturers involved in such product areas as non-linear editing, special effects, digital file encoding, delivery, and transcoding. He holds a Bachelors degree in marketing management from Bentley College in Waltham, Massachusetts, and is a veteran of a number of successful technology startup companies.
