Pathfire Names New Chief
Financial Officer
Atlanta, GA, June 21, 2006 - Pathfire,
Inc., the leading provider of digital media
management and distribution solutions for the
broadcast television industry, is pleased to
announce the appointment of its new Chief Financial
Officer, Steven Russell. "We at Pathfire
are thrilled that someone with Steven's skills
and experience has joined our organization.
There is no doubt that Steven will help Pathfire
as it grows to its next level," said Mike
Eckert, President and CEO of Pathfire.
Steven Russell joins Pathfire
where he assumes all aspects of Pathfire's administration
responsibilities, including human resources,
accounting, auditing, finance, and strategic
transactions. "Pathfire has a strong, professional
management team offering a new and unique technological
solution to its customers," said Steven.
Most recently, he was Chief Financial
Officer at LogistiCare, an Atlanta-based firm
offering the nation's leading technology/service
solution for human transportation programs.
Previously, he served as CFO of Florida Digital
Network, an integrated communications provider
delivering a comprehensive range of voice and
data services.
Steven has also served as Vice
President & International Treasurer with
Lucent Technologies, Inc. At Lucent, he was
instrumental in BellSouth's rollout of the first
North American site for a high-speed Fiber to
the Home system. He also served with Seagram
on its acquisition and integration of Universal.
Additionally Steven served several years as
an officer with the U.S. Army.
Steven received his bachelor of
science degree in engineering from the U.S.
Military Academy of West Point, NY; a master
of science degree from Boston University; and
a master of business administration degree from
Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
He serves on several non-profit
boards and resides in Atlanta with his wife,
Vanessa.
